The Sodexo Future Leaders Internship Program, which has existed in its current form since 2007, provides professional development opportunities to college students and exposure to the contract management services industry. There is a part time (20 hours/week) spring program and a full time (40 hours/week) summer program. Interns obtain valuable industry experience working with leaders in the hospitality field, and participate in professional development workshops in the areas of communication, ethics and interviewing skills. The program has a mentoring component, and each intern is assigned a Sodexo manager who serves as a formal mentor throughout the internship. Many interns are subsequently offered permanent positions at Sodexo.
