SODEXHO USA WINS $9 MILLION MULTI-SITE CONTRACT WITH CHRISTUS SPOHN HEALTH SYSTEM

Contract includes food and nutrition services at six locations

GAITHERSBURG, MD-June 15, 2005-Sodexho USA (NYSE:SDX) announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide food and nutrition services for the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System (CSHS) in Corpus Christi, Texas, valued at $9 million in managed volume over three years. As part of the new contract, Sodexho will provide a wide range of food and nutrition services.

Sodexho will work with CSHS leadership to implement a standardized approach to food service systems. As part of this program, recipes and menus at all CSHS locations will follow the strict guidelines established by Sodexho, using the latest industry-approved nutrition and health standards.

Sodexho will also be revamping the CSHS dining experience. Sodexho retail plans include a Chicago-based brand that features pizza, pasta, toasted sandwiches and hand-tossed salads which will allow guests to purchase a full line of freshly prepared “Italian Market”-style items. Other quality concepts will include an “Innovations” station to offer a made-to-order ethnic entrées, plus a complete “Wellness and You” program that will provide healthy eating alternatives. By implementing this full line of branded retail concepts, Sodexho will meet the broad range of customer tastes at CSHS.
