Sodexo creates new leadership role in Corporate Services Market
GAITHERSBURG, Md., August 26, 2009--Sodexo Inc., a comprehensive service solutions company with a core business of integrated food and facilities management, announced the appointment of Mark Bickford as president of Corporate Service Solutions, leading Sodexo’s traditional dining services for Corporate Services Market and vending nationwide.
This newly created position and market realignment allows Sodexo to reallocate resources in line with the organization’s strategic goals and provide additional operational focus, adding value to Sodexo customers.

Bickford began his career more than 20 years ago as a culinarian. After graduating from the European Master Chef Apprenticeship Program, he attended Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and Babson College’s Executive Education Program for Corporate Entrepreneurship. Bickford, who joined Sodexo in 1985, was most recently division vice president for the eastern portion of the U.S., for the company’s Corporate Services business and the portfolio of National Accounts. He is actively involved with both the Hispanic College Fund and the Society for Foodservice Management. Mark and family reside in Trumbull, Conn.
