The result is that Sodexo's cost-per-hire is less than half of the average figure reported by the Corporate Executive Board. 

In addition, the company recently launched an aggressive internal sourcing program to increase internal promotions, and revamped its Employee Referral Program, resulting in a 50 percent increase in employee referral hires. An Alumni Reconnexions Program resulted in 123 re-hires of former employees, and a military-focused recruitment initiative increased military management hires by 28%.
