The results of the 3rd Black Book of Outsourcing’s “Top Green Vendors” study were announced by outsourcing and market research firm Brown-Wilson Group, which conducts the annual study, on Earth Day.
The 2009 Green study explored new trends and factors that are impacting outsourcing management and delved into factors like how economic conditions contribute to making the most environmentally-friendly suppliers, both offshore and onshore. Research aspects included organizational priorities, budget constraints, option scarcity, the use of contractors to minimize energy consumption, and perceptions of corporate responsibility.
