Sodexo Marks 35 Years Providing Exemplary Service to Hollenbeck Palms

Gaithersburg, Md., September 20, 2011 — Hollenbeck Palms, California's premiere Continuing Care Retirement Community, and Sodexo, the world leader in Quality of Daily Life services, have been working together since America celebrated its bicentennial in 1976. Over the years the food services offerings have changed but the dedication to service excellence that brought the two together remains the same.

For the past 35 years, Sodexo has provided food service at Hollenbeck Palms, evolving the offerings as palates have moved from traditional 'American' meat and potatoes to a myriad of tastes from around the world, while maintaining the highest level of culinary standards in order to meet and exceed residents' expectations, nutritional guidelines and protocols.

"Sodexo has consistently provided Hollenbeck Palms' food service with creativity, great attention to detail, and responsiveness on a daily basis," said Willam G. Heideman, Hollenbeck Palms, President & CEO. "The extra support we receive for our special events makes all the difference to our residents, visiting families, friends and prospective residents. Their attentiveness to the senior market, proven track record and competitively priced product has enabled Hollenbeck Palms to greatly benefit from Sodexo’s 35-years of dedicated service."

Residential meals are served in both the formal Grand Dining Room or in Magnolia Courts' Skyline Bistro for casual dining. Hollenbeck's 24-hour Skilled Nursing facility has recently implemented Sodexo's "Fine Dining" program.
